LUIS Technology on USA and Canada Roadshow 2024

From April 29 to May 8, 2024, LUIS Technology traveled through the USA and Canada on a roadshow. The journey took the team through Toronto, Montreal, New York, Chicago, St. Louis, and other cities to showcase the company's latest innovations.

During the roadshow, the following products were presented:

• ADAS-Systeme

The event provided an opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and to discover how LUIS Technology can support businesses.In Chicago, Illinois, the importance of workplace safety was particularly evident at one of the largest steel factories in the USA. The LUIS EDGE AI, an AI-powered camera for mobile machinery, improved visibility and safety on site. Feedback from operators benefiting from enhanced visibility and safety was overwhelmingly positive. Additionally, the company worked on more complex solutions for remote-controlled machines.

In the USA, the protection of human lives through high-quality assistance systems plays a significant role. Despite the large potential, there is no specialized camera manufacturer for commercial vehicles.

The roadshow allowed the team to meet with existing customers and partners, as well as new contacts, and discuss the challenges and opportunities in the field of AI-based person recognition for specialty vehicles. Discussions ranged from system design and the EU AI Act to new use cases for SAFE EDGE AI.
