Our AI runs on secured hardware. A safety controller monitors the video pipeline and the functionality of the AI in real time. For training our AI, we also incorporate the latest approaches to explainability in AI ("Explainable AI"). We train our AI models using our own data (data privacy), in our AI lab in Hamburg, specifically for the context of commercial vehicles and mobile machinery ("Reliable AI"). In doing so, we anticipate emerging AI standards for safety-critical applications in commercial vehicles and mobile machinery, and we work closely with leading universities.
The AI runs “embedded” without additional hardware and directly on the camera to save space. Communication with the vehicle takes place in a functionally safe environment via CAN bus or GPIOs. With our SAFE VISION AI framework, we are “safety ready” and enable deep integration into your vehicle systems.
